John and his family recently stayed at an upscale lodging that had two restaurants, a sleek bar, an indoor pool, and a fitness center. They were particularly impressed with the amenities, such as the bar, gym, and parking. The buffet offered a good assortment of fruits, hot food, cereals, pastries, and milk. The family was appreciative of the family-friendly environment, awesome staff, and overall great experience. Their room was comfortable, the beds were cozy, and the service was great. The location of the hotel was also convenient.
Overall, John and his family had an excellent experience with the lodging. They will absolutely be returning due to the flexibility of check in and check out times being very helpful for a short-term weekend trip. The only reason John gave the service category a 3/5 was due to the fact that when he arrived at the hotel, he was told they could only guarantee his rate if he had tickets to a soccer game that was going on that weekend. When he showed the receptionist his reservation confirmation which had no mention of the soccer game, she agreed to give him the rate but said she wouldn't be able to provide the two breakfasts that were included. In the end, John gave up and agreed.
