However, a three-night stay at the hotel was a bit underwhelming. Whilst the exterior, grounds and location are great, cleanliness fell short. The carpets in the hallway need to be shampooed and the entry doors were regularly overflowing with trash, which would remain unemptied until the afternoon of the following day. Additionally, cooking odors from other guests would fill the common hallways each night and make their way into the rooms. This greasy smell required the windows to remain open to subside.
Another issue was that the staff were not aware of or trained in the Bonvoy status and benefits. Even when asked, the front desk girl failed to credit the welcome amenity points to the guest, who had to call afterwards to get it done.
